Background
Melanie Meaker joined Mason Health in July 2025. She brings experience from managing behavioral health services in an outpatient clinic, providing case management and therapy in a community mental health setting, and working in local government supporting community behavioral health agencies. These roles have given her a strong foundation in supporting individuals across a range of needs and backgrounds.
Meaker’s approach to therapy is client-centered, non-judgmental and collaborative. She focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and works with clients to identify goals. Her practice draws from family systems and Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy and skills-based techniques to support meaningful and practical change.
Meaker works with clients to better understand their experiences, strengthen coping skills and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
Outside of her clinical work, Meaker enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, baking and playing board games. She values balance, curiosity, and connection, both in her personal life and professional practice.
