NEW in 2026, the hospitalist providers at Mason Health are happy to offer the availability of a scholarship to help further educational goals for any senior high school student living within Mason County and pursuing an education in the healthcare associated fields. This award is up to $10,000.

Our Mission Statement:

Mason Health Foundation furthers the mission of Public Hospital District No. 1 by enhancing the quality of care enjoyed by patients of Mason County by providing financial support to Mason Health.

How we fulfill our mission:

Since the Foundation began, the volunteer-based Board of Directors, various Chapters and Guilds, and event committees have organized several fundraising events and giving opportunities to support the mission of PHD No. 1 and raise much-needed funds for medical equipment for Mason Health. Campaigns such as Give Local or Giving Tuesday, fundraisers and the work of our chapters, the Auxiliary and the Centennial Guild, raise funds in support of Mason Health and Public Hospital District No. 1.
 

As technology in healthcare improves and the population ages, the public places greater demands on hospitals. At the same time, insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, are paying less to hospitals, making the need for support from organizations like the Foundation more important.

Every year Mason Health Foundation receives gifts designated by the members of our community through their wills. Some of these donations the Foundation is aware of, while others come as a surprise. Either way, all gifts are appreciated and used to help enhance local health care. To these people we say, thank you!

Give to the Foundation while you shop at Fred Meyer! Mason General Hospital Foundation has been enrolled in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program. Shoppers now have the ability to register their Shopper's Card to start giving back to MGHF.

Once registered, any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Fred Meyer donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Fred Meyer Community Rewards organizations.
 

To Use the Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program:
Visit https://www.fredmeyer.com. Once logged into your Fred Meyer account, you can search for Mason Health Foundation either by name or MN711 and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.
*You must have a registered Fred Meyer rewards card account to link to your organization.
*If you do not yet have a Fred Meyer rewards card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Fred Meyer.

REMEMBER, purchases will not count for the Foundation until after you register their rewards card. You must swipe your registered Fred Meyer rewards card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Fred Meyer rewards card when shopping for each purchase to count
