Background
Meghan Olson, MD, grew up in the Pacific Northwest, graduated from Linfield College in Oregon and joined the Peace Corps after her undergraduate degree. She served in Cambodia, which sparked an interest in global health care. She completed a master’s of science degree in International Child Health from University College London, in the United Kingdom, and returned to work in Cambodia and later in Zambia and Afghanistan.
Dr. Olson’s interest in women’s health and underserved medicine grew during her years abroad and eventually led her to medical school at Washington State University, with residency training in obstetrics-gynecology at East Tennessee State University. She is excited to be back in her home state of Washington with her husband and daughter.
