Matt Cummings
Cummings was hired at Mason Health as a cook in 2022 and accepted the Supervisor of Culinary and Nutrition Services position in 2023. He has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Growing up, he worked in his mother’s restaurant at the Olympia Farmers Market, and his father’s organic farm and nursery. This instilled in him a deep appreciation for food and hospitality. Cummings has also cooked for the Washington State Legislature on the Capitol campus, and as the head chef for a private preschool. During his off time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, cooking for friends and family, and reading as many books as possible.
